Our Team:

Bridget

Bridget

Bridget’s leadership background includes success in a fascinating variety of C-level roles with both for-profit and nonprofit institutions. Her early career as a military commander prepared her for positions in which she has to not just make plans but implement them and live with their consequences. Bridget earned her MBA from Columbia Business School (the one in New York) and is one of the few team members who can deliver presentations in several languages. Bridget is President and CEO of National Able Network, managing principal of Non-Profit Advisors, and recently (and concurrently) served as the acting CEO of the Center for Economic Progress leading up to its merger.

David

David

David is managing principal of Steinco Corporate Realty. He is known as a brilliant real estate strategist, philanthropist, and high-energy negotiator. David is the only person we know who actually graduated from the London School of Economics and is apparently very smart. Our history goes back some 15 years and includes many real estate deals that have proven terrifically very advantageous to nonprofits. No nonprofit should consider a major move, expansion, building purchase or other real estate transaction without the benefit of David’s wisdom and negotiating prowess.

Gail

Gail

It’s always about the people. Gail has consulted with some of the most recognized for profit and nonprofit companies to establish best practices in everything from compensation structures to benefits to job profiles/families to compliance: because making it up – or making it personal – can lead to employee mistrust and failure to attract and retain the best talent. Gail has also created and delivered leadership development training for managers and executives to help them build stronger teams and make ‘promotion from within’ a practical reality. She brings critical insights to our team’s work in any human resources, organizational design, or strategic planning and implementation engagement.

Mark

Mark

Mark joined the team as Director IT Administration, with more than 10 years of IT experience and multiple degrees including an MBA from Lake Forest. He has all the technical know-how and more, but what sets Mark apart is his strategic thinking and ability to reverberate positivity during any project in any organization while bringing out the best from the team. Additionally, Mark is a member and subject matter expert for the Chicago Electronic Crimes Task Force (basically, he’s the closest thing we have to a Secret Agent.)

Grace

Grace

Grace most recently served as CEO of National Able Network (15 years) after a career in high tech, military service, and strategic consulting. She has personally handled mergers, turn-around operations, and restructurings in multiple organizations and knows a great deal about how to make an organization healthy across all critical areas. Grace supports the team in its major strategic leadership engagements including mergers, strategic planning and restructurings. She has an MBA in finance from Stanford, which has come in handy, and some engineering credentials before that, which have not.

Jaira

Jaira

Jaira designs and delivers an impressive curriculum of customer service training to seniors, veterans, and others responsible for front-line Customer Contact Center support. She has years of experience across a wide variety of call center operations and knows what works when the goal is happy, responsive customers. She has effectively trained teams on not just survey implementation with impressive results, but on complex issues including tax returns and government services eligibility. On a daily basis, Jaira personally monitors call queues and produces comprehensive reports on her Center’s results.

Khalid

Khalid

Our finance team lead is the nearly-famous Khalid Qazi who was selected as the 2017 Nonprofit CFO of the Year by Financial Executives International. In his 15 years with us, Khalid has delivered 15 years of flawless audits, trained finance professionals across a multitude of public and private entities and distinguished himself as a world-class expert in all aspects of nonprofit compliance. Khalid regularly shares his expertise with several nonprofit organizations and is trusted by foundations, boards, and executives to build sustainable fiscal teams and practices. He is also a terrifically nice person and our customers love him!

Kristen

Kristen

Kristen is the person who best knows how communications around any organization’s brand message and reputation should be conveyed to the outside world and what it takes to manage public perception. She is an accomplished journalist, marketing expert, and relationship manager – skills and insights that are critically needed whenever a nonprofit is experiencing major changes. Kristen also directs operations involving our Customer Contact Center including data analytics and survey design.
